In 2019 the NHL Gathering provided an exciting new opportunity for PAO to add a third major pro sport to our ministry portfolio. The introduction and invitation came early in 2018 to partner with a group that was dreaming of serving hockey in the same way we have been with baseball and football for nearly 50 years. Two days of strategic meetings in Lake Tahoe in July of 2018 forged the relationships and vision that served as the foundation for the official launch of “The Gathering Pro Hockey powered by The Increase.†This conference fostered the same transformative community experience for pros and couples in the NHL that we have seen in the NFL and MLB.
