Scott Kiesel serves both the Private Wealth division and the Professional Athlete Division of Blue Trust in Indianapolis, Indiana and is a senior partner of the company.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certificant and an experienced wealth advisor in the Private Wealth division to individuals, families, and businesses, Scott uses his objective perspective to help clients make wise financial decisions to experience clarity and confidence and leave a lasting legacy. His goal is to help those he serves focus on the things that matter most to them. Scott and his team integrate financial planning, investment management, and trust services into financial plans tailored to his clients’ needs.

As a senior financial advisor with the Professional Athlete Division, Scott serves athletes and their families, helping them navigate the financial, marital, and personal pitfalls that athletes face today. The Professional Athlete Division of Blue Trust employs a customized service model geared to the unique needs of the athlete in their specific sport. Services include coordination of tax and legal counsel, bill paying, cash flow management, financial and estate planning, trust services, and philanthropic strategies. Blue Trust serves over 100 active and retired players and coaches across the MLB, NFL, NBA, PGA, NASCAR, and the NCAA.

Prior to joining Blue Trust in 1991, Scott worked as a financial consultant with Shearson Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch. He also was a business development representative for Merchants Bank, managing and expanding the bank’s commercial loan portfolio. Scott graduated magna cum laude from the University of Indianapolis in 1986, where he received the Wall Street Journal Award, given annually to an outstanding student in economics and finance.

An active member of the community, Scott has traveled on many international mission trips with several of his professional athlete clients and has led basketball camps for inner city youth. He serves on the Wheeler Mission Ministries Board of Directors, the Oaks Academy Board of Trustees, and is a member of Kingdom Advisors. Scott and his wife, Laura, live in Indianapolis. They have two adult children and three grandchildren.
