Pro Athletes Outreach exists to unite a community of pro athletes and couples to grow as disciples of Jesus and positively impact their spheres of influence.

Motivation
As a community of pro athletes and couples is transformed into the image of Jesus, the Gospel will be shared globally through the universal language of sport.
I’m a follower of Christ having an athletic experience
If we’re not careful, we can identify first and foremost
as athletes, and drag Jesus into that experience.
To be a follower of Jesus is a statement of our
being, not our doing.
If we identify first and foremost as Christ-followers,
that’s the only identity that will never be taken away,
and cannot ever morph into something lesser.
The Apostle Paul calls us “in Christ†(Ephesians 2:10).
We’re wrapped inside of that Name, which is so much
more than a name.

A partner is invited. They’re invited into something greater
than themselves. They’re invited by God to partner
together with Him for the sake of the world.
A partner is involved. As partners, we’re helping each
other learn how to live as Christ-followers in the world
of pro sports.
A partner is invested. We invest ourselves in things that
are important, not only to us, but also to God. We invest
in things that last for eternity.
A consumer says, “I’m on the outside of the group, looking in.â€
But a partner says, “I’m on the inside of the group, looking out — out into a world where I’ve been given influence and a platform.â€
A partner is invited. They’re invited into something greater
than themselves. They’re invited by God to partner
together with Him for the sake of the world.
A partner is involved. As partners, we’re helping each

placing another burden on our shoulders. It’s about recognizing the mission we’re called into, and about using our lives to declare the Name above every other name.
In the end, it’s the true north of the abundant life we all desperately want for, and it frees us to experience life the way God intends.

In Christ, As Partners, On Mission
Everything Pro Athletes Outreach represents rests upon three pillars. Though essential, these pillars must first be established
and anchored to a firm foundation. Here, that foundation is Jesus Himself and the truth revealed about Him in Scripture.
The dictionary defines the word “pillar†as
“... a person or thing regarded as reliable to provide essential support for something larger.â€
Pillars are supportive. Pillars are carefully constructed, not for themselves, but for something larger. A pillar is reliable.
A pillar is essential. A pillar is strong.
