Currently pursuing an MBA at MIT, he continues the leadership journey he began with his 17 years with the Patriots by coaching individuals, teams, and organizations as an executive consultant and speaker.
The son of NFL Hall of Famer Jackie Slater and Annie Slater, Matthew and his brother David grew up where Faith and Football were priorities in that order. He carries that legacy forward with intention, faith, and a relentless respect for hard work. Slater is also a 3x Super Bowl champion, 10x Pro Bowler, 13x captain, but of all his titles, his favorites are husband to Shahrzad and father to Jeremiah, Hannah, Noah, and Micah.
