Kevin Troy Daniels Jr. is a worship leader, pastor, and mentor with more than 15 years of experience in worship ministry and creative arts. His heart is simple: love people well, develop healthy leaders, and help others encounter Christ through worship.
Raised as a pastor’s son, Kevin grew up serving the local church. Before age 10, he had already experienced nearly every area of music ministry. While attending Western Kentucky University, Kevin’s calling took deeper root as he led a college gospel choir of 120 students. Traveling across the country, directing the choir, and leading worship alongside young adults strengthened his passion for bringing people together around faith, music, and a shared love for Jesus. After graduating, Kevin returned to Colorado Springs, where he served churches throughout the city. Through his work with COS I Love You, he helped unite worship pastors and teams for citywide gatherings that brought together more than 6,000 believers for worship and prayer.
In 2020, Kevin and his wife moved to Oklahoma City to serve at Victory Church. There, he helped rebuild a worship ministry navigating the effects of church hurt. Walking alongside people through healing and renewed purpose shaped his pastoral heart and his commitment to developing healthy worship ministries through relationships, discipleship, coaching, and mentorship.
Today, Kevin resides in McKinney, Texas, and serves at One Community Church as a member of the Global Worship Team and Anna Campus Pastor. He also helps lead the church’s School of Worship, which began in 2025 with more than 70 students. Through biblical teaching and practical development, Kevin equips students to discern, lead worship, build teams, and develop other leaders. One illustration captures his approach: if Christ is the chef and the pastor is the waiter, the worship leader is the host—welcoming people, helping them find their place at the table, and making room for them to receive what Christ has prepared.
For Kevin, the greatest privilege of ministry is helping people draw near to Jesus. His desire is to lead with a surrendered heart, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide every song, every conversation, and every opportunity to serve.
