Andre Ward is a former five-time World Champion, pound-for-pound king, the last American male to win Olympic gold in boxing and a first ballot inductee into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. His world class resume extends outside the boxing ring as well. Ward began working in the broadcast space during his time as an active fighter and has served as an expert analyst on Showtime, HBO, ESPN and Netflix.

His commentary work earned him the highly coveted Sam Taub Award Excellence in Broadcast Journalism award from the Boxing Writers association in 2019.  Ward recently joined All The Smoke Fight as their Chief Content Officer and has interviewed some of the biggest names in the boxing world, including Mike Tyson, Laila Ali, Terence Crawford, Claressa Shields and Shakur Stevenson for his new platform. Fans became accustomed to seeing Ward on screens both big and small through various roles.  He played Danny “Stuntman” Wheeler in the blockbuster films Creed and Creed II as well as  hosting the reprisal of Mark Burnett’s Contender series in 2018. Ward’s incredible life story was profiled in his documentary “SOG: The Book of Ward” in 2023.  The inspirational film, which is currently available on Paramount+, details his improbable rise to  the top of his sport despite insurmountable obstacles throughout his life.

Yet Ward didn’t stop there, he released his memoir, Killing The Image: A Champion’s Journey of  Faith, Fighting and Forgiveness in November of 2023. The deeply personal memoir shares the  challenges and lessons he has learned throughout his life and career.
In addition to his book and documentary, Ward is a skilled motivational speaker, and has crafted  targeted messages to various audiences, including: corporations, sports teams, schools,  churches and youth groups.  Ward and his wife Tiffiney are ministers and consistently provide impactful messages at their  church in the Bay Area. Ward ended his active boxing career on a 19-year winning streak in September of 2017. He  shocked the sports world by retiring following the biggest win of his career and at the top of his  game. Despite consistent calls for Ward to return, he has defied the odds and remained retired  although it hasn’t always been easy.

The father of five is a role model and mentor to many both in and out of the sports world due to  his strong character, story of success and ability to motivate others to follow their dreams and  live life in the right way.
