 STEVE STENSTROM - PRESIDENT

Steve has an extensive leadership background, along with a rich history of athletic success. He comes to PAO from his ministry to students on the campus of Stanford University, Kingdom First Ministries. Steve has a passion for connecting with and mentoring others, and developing their God-given potential. He is highly creative and innovative in his strategies for reaching people and helping them to connect with their Maker in order to leverage their talents, influence and passions to further God's Kingdom.

Steve played quarterback at Stanford University where he continues to hold most of the
career passing records.  He continued his athletic career into the NFL, where he played for six
years, retiring in 2001.  At Stanford, he met his wife Lori.  They now have four children - Brooke, Blake, Lindsay and Ashley - and currently reside in Menlo Park, California. Steve is also a Bay Area regional coach of The Master's Program, a leadership mentoring program for Christian business and ministry leaders.  He has a passion for God's Word, and his experiences in the business and sports worlds offer a unique and exciting outlook for PAO's future.

 

 

JIM HORSLEY - COO

Jim Horsley is no stranger to making a miracle look easy. A former Naval Aviator in combat in Vietnam and later with the elite Blue Angels flight team, Jim runs a tight ship. As Chief Operations Officer, he is responsible for strategic planning acting National Director of our Coaches Time Out program. Additionally, he provides oversight and planning for PAO operations. Jim is an expert at streamlining and efficiency, and keeps this nation-wide ministry going with a small but dedicated staff.

Jim's heart is serving the server and he truly demonstrates this philosophy in the way he works with the PAO board and staff as well as conference attendees and ministry stakeholders. Jim sees those who come to PAO for teaching as people that have an incredible potential to serve our communities.
 



DON DAVIS - DIRECTOR FOR NFL PROGRAMS

Don Davis comes to PAO with a background in playing and coaching in the NLF. He's won a championship ring playing in New England and now works towards building God's kingdom providing leadership, encouragement and mentoring to current NLF players. His passion and energy adds a dynamic to PAO that will propel it into the future. Don currently lives in Florida with his wife Yannette and their two children. 






EDDIE TAUBENSEE - AMBASSADOR TO MLB

Eddie is a former MLB catcher who offers a depth of experience and contagious positive attitude to PAO. Eddie's heart is shown in the way he humbly serves others and always meets you with a smile. We are lucky to have a man at PAO who clearly understands the professional sports culture and has a passion for the Lord. He currently lives in Florida with his wife Rene and their three boys.





DARCI HANLEY - CONFERENCE AND EVENTS MANAGEMENT

Darci Hanley left the fast-paced life of her home state of Idaho to join the PAO staff right here in Issaquah, WA. A veteran on the PAO staff, Darci manages both the PAO and Coaches Time Out conferences. It doesn't take long for conferees or staff to realize that "if you have questions, Darci has answers." Her passion for putting on great conferences has played a huge part in the rapid growth of all our events.

When she is not planning events for the world's best athletes, Darci and her husband Mike love to spoil their dog, Breve.





ELIZABETH NOVOBIELSKI - CONFERENCE MANAGEMENT

Flown in from the humble hills of Naches, WA, Elizabeth has been a dynamic addition to the PAO team. She works closely with Norm and Bobbe as their assistant, does a little office management and has recently discovered the world of conference management! She has a hand in almost everything that goes on in the office and is not afraid to take on new projects. Her sense of humor and love of Jesus and people have made her a vital part of the team.

In her spare time Elizabeth loves spending time with her family and friends and working with AWANA at her church.  Her goal in life is to bring glory to Christ!
 


 



LIZ BROWN - SUPPORT SERVICES

Liz is in her second season at PAO and is rapidly expanding her responsibilities. Along with managing the ever-growing database she is now also taking on the high intensity world of conference management. She does Brazilian jiu jitsu in her free time and competes in various tournaments around the Northwest. 

Liz is not all work though, she has a seriously goofy side that she occasionally shares with the office and consistently unleashes while volunteering with her church youth group.


 


JESSICA HOWARD - MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS  

Though her degrees are in Education, Jessica comes from a background in ministry at Mariners Church, where she worked in high school ministry with "the dream team".  It was during her time at Mariners that Jessica developed a heart to help people take "next steps" in their faith and she is excited to use this God-given passion to serve the athletes, coaches, and families of PAO.  Another passion of Jessica's is traveling overseas, particularly to less developed countries, and loves what God teaches her through her adventures.  Jessica earned her Masters in Equity & Social Justice in Education and hopes to fuse her passions for bringing education and the hope of the gospel to people throughout the world.

 

BROOKE LEE  - TEAM OPERATIONS

Brooke was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. In an attempt to escape the Las Vegas heat, Brooke pursued her college career at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she studied journalism and also met her husband, Nolan. Brooke has a true passion for Jesus and enjoys watching people make decisions to live their lives for Him. She is eager to use the gifts and talents God gave her within PAO to further His Kingdom. In her spare time, Brooke mentors a group of middle school girls through a local youth ministry. She also has a huge heart for genocide reconciliation in Rwanda and Sudan as well as a heart to see God’s redemption reign over the injustices of our world.
